Hi, I'm Zoe!
I am 21 years old and will graduate from university with a bachelor's degree in photography from DMU in summer 2025.
My journey started with a passion for photography and a desire to share it, I aim to combine aesthetic vision with professional expertise, ready to educate and inspire aspiring photographers.
Anywhere I go, some form of camera comes with me. I have over 35,000 photos and 6,000 videos on my phone!
I have been enjoying using my Lumix compact camera for capturing memories when I'm travelling and need something small. On top of that, I have been experimenting with a Sony A7R. Of course, I can't forget my trusty first camera, I still reach for my Nikon D3300. Whatever the occasion, I will have all the lenses and equipment required. That being said, I would love the chance to invest in the Sony camera as well as a macro lens.
I have always had a love of photography, from the plastic toy cameras when I was younger, to my first bridge camera and then my granddad's old 35mm film cameras.
I found my passion for photography at GCSE. I proceeded with growing my photography skills at college for 2 years, and here we are at 21, almost finished my 3-year course at university.
I adore all aspects of photography, but I would not be where I am today without the confidence all my tutors had in me from 16. I will be going into teacher training in Autumn 2025, where I will be able to pursue this path better.
I always want to help out friends, whether that is through being a studio assistant and moving lighting and equipment, or it is modelling clothes for a friend's project.
Selflessness is one of the best attributes a person could have, and I always strive for everyone around me to feel comfortable and happy.
If any other photographers want a hand with anything, or even just a chat-don't hesitate to reach out!
